I’m George Valliant owner of Albuquerque Carpet Care and Restoration. I’ve been in the cleaning business since 1982. Over the years I’ve met many cleaning and restoration professionals. In my opinion, Troy Finch of APS Cleaning and Restoration is the most experienced, educated and quality oriented cleaning and restoration professional I have ever met. Also, APS Cleaning and Restoration has the largest collection of modern restoration equipment I have seen and knows how to use each piece properly.
I had the opportunity to work side-by-side with Troy during the Boulder Colorado Flooding of 2013. Troy’s experience, education and vast collection of restoration equipment made him the “go-to” guy other professionals turned to for advice. His extensive list of Industry Certifications made him invaluable during the Boulder clean-up.
Troy knows how to tackle the most difficult restoration projects quickly and efficiently. Including, proper procedures for handling mold, mildew, blackwater, fire, smoke, asbestos and water damage clean-up. Troy is the person I call for advice when I run into difficult restoration projects and he is always eager to help.
If you have a difficult, or easy, restoration project I highly recommend you call Troy with APS Cleaning and Restoration first. You’ll sleep well at night knowing the best restoration professional in the industry has got your back!

We have used APS, Troy Finch, several times to clean our carpets. We are impressed with his knowledge of various stains and how to treat them, as well as his advanced equipment. We were especially pleased with the extraction of water from the cleaning process, and were able to replace furniture only two hours after the cleaning on a dry carpet. He is skilled in alleviation of mold and other toxic conditions, as well as water removal after a flood or water line break. We would recommend APS for any cleaning or other necessary clean-up after fire or water damage in home or commercial building. We have referred him to several friends as well as our church, with positive feedback.

After coming back from vacation late on a Saturday night, all we wanted to do was get a good night’s sleep after the 10 hour drive. We finally got the rest we needed after cleaning up the mess created from a leak in the water filter system. The next morning (Sunday) we contacted APS and informed them what had happened. Instead of waiting until Monday, they had a team at our house coordinating the removal of furniture, belongings and carpet that had water damage. They also arranged for a storage unit to be delivered that Sunday to keep the process running smoothly.
First thing Troy did was explain the process of how things go in these situations, what to expect from the insurance company and the process to rebuild. He made the situation easier to handle knowing he was taking the lead on this mess. He was able to get driers in place and stop any more damage from happening. In particular, he was able to dry between the walls and eliminate any major drywall repairs. He was there every step of the way providing comfort and explanations and assurance all would work out fine.
Without the help of APS things would never have gotten back to normal as quickly. After my experience and talking to him about his other more horrific situations he has handled, I can highly recommend APS for any water damage situations you may encounter.
